LMS Foundation Holds 30th Annual Golf Tournament, presented by BB&T for the 29th year

The LMS Foundation, presented by BB&T for the 29th year, held its annual golf tournament for the 30th year. What is amazing is John Collins, MD, our LMS Foundation President and Golf Committee Chair, has been leading the tournament since the beginning. His wife Peggy has supported the tournament from the beginning as well.

Dr. John Collins presents John DeWeese, CEO of Professionals’ Insurance Agency a plaque in appreciation of 20 years of support for the tournament.

This year’s tournament was held at the Boone’s Trace National Golf Club in Richmond. Boone’s Trace has a beautiful, newly renovated clubhouse. The day started at noon with delicious chicken which was donated by Raising Cane’s for lunch. Our golfers teed off at 1pm on a pleasant and slightly warm sunny day. The day concluded with dinner by Boone’s Trace and the awards ceremony. In addition to recognizing all our sponsors, this year the LMS Foundation presented a plaque to John DeWeese of Professionals’ Insurance Agency for their 20 years of support of the tournament.
