Dear Clinicians and Healthcare Provider Agencies:
The Kentucky Department for Public Health, invites you to attend a webinar for healthcare providers and local health department staff addressing the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) situation associated with travel to Wuhan City, China.
Due to the rapidly evolving nature of this outbreak on an international level, the webinar will be held this Tuesday, January 28, at 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. We apologize for the short notice but urge clinicians to attend who represent agencies that might see patients with respiratory infections. Though the likelihood of seeing patients with 2019-nCoV in Kentucky is unknown at this time, we have already experienced a number of inquiries about people who recently traveled from Wuhan and are experiencing respiratory infections, and expect many more questions that might arise concerning possible exposures and clinical illness.
The webinar is also intended for local health departments so that we can share the healthcare-public health roles in this situation with both groups simultaneously.
Link to webinar agenda for reference.
Thank you for your attention to this issue and we will look forward to presenting to you on Tuesday.
To attend the webinar:
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
