The COVID-19 pandemic is rapidly evolving, so please stay attuned to the latest information at  and  As of March 5, no cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Kentucky. However, the state public health laboratory at the Kentucky Department for Public Health in Frankfort is now able to provide testing for COVID-19 with a limited number of test kits. Guidance concerning who should be considered for testing can be found at Clinicians should consider other causes of respiratory illness, including infections such as influenza, which is still widely circulating in Central Kentucky.
