About Us
Mission Health Lexington provides health and healing to our neighbors in need through comprehensive medical, dental, pharmacy, and vision care. Services are available to local residents who are living without insurance and in poverty. Our Medical Clinic and Pharmacy patients are often afflicted by chronic illnesses, necessitating expensive medications and continuous comprehensive lab tests and monitoring for their very survival. Dental Clinic patients have endured years without dental care, often suffering from pain and dental diseases. They require multiple examinations and procedures to restore their oral health. Vision patients have not received vision screenings in years and desperately need prescription lenses.

“When we are sick, it doesn’t matter where we are from, the color of our skin, or our religious beliefs. We are all sick people who need to be helped.”
 – Dr. Lon Keith, MHL Volunteer Physician

Support from the Lexington Medical Society Foundation provides life-saving healthcare resources to our neighbors in need who have no other options. The individuals seeking care at Mission Health Lexington are grappling with issues such as homelessness, disability, unemployment, and underemployment. They have limited resources and insufficient access to the necessary healthcare for their ongoing health needs. Our clinics are operated by compassionate volunteer healthcare professionals and services are provided at no charge to patients.
