2024 LMS President’s November Video Message: LMS Augmented Intelligence Symposium Preview, interview with Michael Yared, CEO echo/bind
I hope that you will be joining us on November 6th for the LMS Augmented Intelligence Symposium! The impact of AI in medicine is such an important topic for us to be discussing as a medical community, so I hope that you will be able to join us for this informative event. Today I want to give you a preview of what we will be talking about at the symposium by introducing the key- note speaker- Michael Yared. A native of Louisville, KY, Michael is the CEO and Co-Founder of Echo/ Bind- a digital agency that offers expertise in strategy, design and engineering to transform businesses.
We all probably have different levels of understanding about what AI is and what role it plays or will play in medicine. At the symposium, Michael is going to give us a cognitive framework around AI so that we all have a better understanding. And then Michael and I will facilitate a panel of local experts to delve into where AI fits into our own practice of medicine now and in the future, including legal and ethical considerations.
We are excited to hear much more about this topic on November 6th at the Signature Club. In addition to Michael, we will have panelist speakers Dr. Brett Oliver, CMIO at Baptist, Dr. Romil Chadha, CMIO from UK- who we heard from last month, and attorney Mr. Mitchell Denham. So come prepared for questions for these experts!
We will have time for networking at 6pm, dinner at 6:30 and our presentation will begin at 7pm. We are encouraging LMS members to bring potential members at no charge. So, if you have a colleague who may be interested in attending- please invite them! And register!
