31th Annual Lexington Medical Society Foundation Virtual Golf Tournament: August 15 to 30, 2020

Sponsored By UK Healthcare Transplant Center

The Lexington Medical Society Foundation Golf Committee has decided to hold a virtual golf tournament instead of an in-person, one day tournament due to COVID-19. Teams would compete anytime over a two-week period between August 15-30 at the Boone’s Trace National Golf Club, 175 Gleneagles Blvd., Richmond, Kentucky, and leave their score card with the golf pro. There will be awards for the first-place team. Our Lexington-area medical non-profits like Surgery-on-Sunday, the Baby Health Service, the Ronald McDonald House, and Camp Horsin’ Around have been hit hard by the economic effects of COVID-19. The pandemic has caused them to cancel their fund-raising events. Camp Horsin’ Around, which supports organized groups to provide an outdoor camp adventure for children whose health is compromised or who have special needs, had to cancel their whole 2020 camping season, their major source of revenue to sustain the operation of their facility and staff. Please consider putting together with a team or competing individually and we will place you on a virtual foursome or donating to the LMS Foundation.
